As my college golf career comes to an end this month, I have been doing some reflecting. Playing in college has been one of the best experiences of my life so far. I have made countless memories, met amazing friends, and have learned many great lessons. This post will reflect on some of the things that I will miss most from the last four years.
One of the things I will miss the most is traveling to tournaments with the team. Although I can still play golf tournaments out of state, it will feel different. The plane/van rides with the team, team dinners, the list goes on. In hindsight, I wish I enjoyed these little moments more than I did at the time.
Another thing I will miss is the benefit of playing so many amazing golf courses for free. Playing at the University of Nevada, we had access to so many great private venues within an hour or so drive. Some of my favorites include Montreux, Clear Creek, and Martis Camp. All of these courses were very kind to us, and it was always a treat to get to play at these clubs.
Overall, college golf has been such an unbelievable privilege and experience for me. I am extremely grateful for all of the memories and friends I made along the way. I hope I can do everything I can to stay in touch with the program, as well as my teammates.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Please be sure to check out some of my other posts!
